Computer Animation class is doing an Animation!

I'm finally starting to learn some actual animation skills within Maya, and I'm super excited to get better!

I'll admit at first I was skeptical and the actual animation part of it was intimidating to me, but it's getting easier every day!

Can't wait to finish this sucker up!

Gargoyle

For starting this while bored in rt of China, it really took off!

I'm excited to make this a serious model, and honestly, I'm just kind of shocked that it became so good.

Hard surface organic form was never something I thought myself very good at, or really any organic stuff at all really, so I'm glad it's going good!

The Final Render!

Here it is!!!!

It's all finally together! Rendered, post, and all!

I will be working on it more intensively though in the future working out the dinks, and replacing the chair, as it's too unlike the room for my liking.

Castles N' Shit!

Here's a castle that started up for Video class, but it's ended up coming out so nicely that I'm going to push it way farther and make it a portfolio piece, and probably use it in some other way too!

Video I CG Work

Working on a few small scenes for my Video I music video project.

I plan to rotoscope myself out of the rest of the footage and place myself here, among other creepy locations.

More Updates!

Its coming along! I seriously can't WAIT to finish this scene!

Forgotten (Formerly Project_Light)

It's been a while now, but i'm so glad that I'm collaborating on a few indie game projects, the best from all being one titled "Forgotten" in development on GameJolt.com. http://gamejolt.com/games/other/forgotten-formerly-project-light/14188/. Looking forward to seeing it's completion!

Testing some non-humanistic zsphere meshes

Yeah it looks interesting, some things i'll need to tweak on it, but I think i'm gonna go ahead and start adding detail. I think once sculpted carefully, it'll look really good!

Update on full female!

Looking better! The anatomy has started falling into place, and with some mess ups here and there it'll be ready to take further!

MAYA MODELS!

Yeah the juke box kind of looks like crap but for some reason it was giving me more trouble than I thought. Everything else though has been fine and dandy and will keep getting better!

And then there was ZBrush

Finally started ZBrush, and for my first two base mesh creations, I'd say they're pretty good. I'm gonna start making them more defined, and create some high poly illustrations.

Diner UPDATE!

It sure is coming along!

Some lighting in it to make it seem less stagnant, but all the detail is still visible in there.

Started a retro scene finally.

I decided to break from my desire of doing it in Maya and go back to learning 3DS Max which I prefer as a modeling program.

Here's my Tumblr and DeviantArt. I'm trying to get more active on them, so hopefully i'll be posting a lot more work on them soon.

A Decent Model

I'm really intermediate at 3D modeling, and I still need to pick up other programs, such as Maya and ZBrush. Currently what I've got knowledge in is 3DS Max. Probobly one of my best models so far, based off of an old Nintendo game I used to enjoy.
Here's the new blog. Basically I'll have a fully description up very soon to explain what exactly is going on currently. Right now I'm in furthering education at the Columbus College of Art and Design, and currently focusing on creating my own video game. This interest in the game has been a long term goal of mine, dating back far before college, but just recently has been even slightly possible with the resources available. While this started out as me going into the production as a solo work, I have begun talking to several people, which has let this become much more of a collaboration.

So as progress actually happens, I'll be sure to post it up on the blog dedicated solely to the game. There will also be a full description up about it very soon. The rest of everything will be up on this blog.
